CIB 24/7 four weeks before the session

From 7 January to 16 February 2025, the Information and Library Centre will be open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Four weeks before the examination session, UMED students and staff who carry valid ID cards or staff cards will be able to use the library all week long, without any time restriction.

Special rules apply in the CIB during the night hours, from 20.00 to 8.00. We would like to remind you of the most important of these:

• UMED students and employees who carry valid student cards or staff cards will be able to use the library. Entrance to the CIB after 20.00 will be possible after scanning the ID card or Staff card in the reader at the side entrance or showing the document to a security officer.
• the CIB will be open to the public: on the ground floor – the Circulation Desk, Book locker, Book drop, the Chillout Zone, Computer room, and on the first floor – the Information desk, reading and study areas and the Patio.

After the Christmas and New Year break, library staff are on duty at the CIB from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 20.00 and on Saturdays until 14.00.
