Changes in Payments – Information for Library Users

Dear Members – Electronic Payments for Overdue Book Returns

We are pleased to inform you that the Library has launched the option to make electronic payments for overdue returns of borrowed materials.

✅ The rules for calculating fees and the available payment methods are described in detail in the Library Regulations, available on the Library’s website.

💳 Depending on the amount of the fee, the system offers various payment methods — this is due to differing transaction fees charged by payment operators.

🔁 To make a payment:

  • First, return the overdue books.
  • After the return, the payment option will appear in your Library Account. Please visit the Library Catalog, log in via the My Account option, and go to the “Fees” tab to proceed with the payment.
  • Only after the payment has been processed will the borrowed books be removed from the reader’s account, the account be reactivated, and access to Library services restored.

⚠️ Please do not initiate another payment if you are sure the transaction was successful.

  • Traditional payments may take up to one business day to be recorded.
  • PayU payments are usually processed within a few minutes.

Thank you for your cooperation and timely returns. If you have any questions, please contact the Library staff.
