Embase from Elsevier

We would like to inform you that due to the change of supplier, the Embase database interface has also changed. As of today, Embase (embase.com) will be accessible via Elsevier, and thus access via OVID will expire. The new database link can be found under Databases and Publishers: link

Embase, published by Elsevier, is a unique medical literature database that focuses on pharmacology, toxicology, cardiology, oncology and other pharmaceutical sciences and clinical trials. The database indexes the most important international biomedical literature from 1947 to the present day.

With full-text indexing and dedicated search terms available in Emtree (a hierarchically structured dictionary of terms for biomedicine and other life sciences), relevant and up-to-date results can be found quickly. Embase makes it possible to access a wide range of topics and deeply interconnected records. It therefore makes it easier to find information that is not always disclosed in other databases.
