  2. Hold your library card against the black reader located next to the screen.
  3. Place the book against the black reader next to the screen, or scan the barcode on the book cover using the scanner located below the reader.

  • Before leaving, make sure the screen has returned to the main menu.
  • Books borrowed from a specific micro-library cannot be returned to another, each book is assigned to a specific machine.
  • The outermost lockers are slightly narrower. If a book does not fit into them during return, you should cancel the return procedure and try again.
  • If, for any reason, a book cannot be returned to the micro-library, it must be left with security, and the library must be notified to avoid a fine.

CHECKING ACCOUNT STATUS AND BORROWED BOOKS

  1. On the main screen, tap the “Account” (Konto) option.
  2. Hold your library card against the black reader located next to the screen.
  3. A list of your currently borrowed books will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Once you are done checking, tap the “back” (powrót) button at the bottom of the screen.

Important! The system needs a few minutes to process the transaction. Changes to your account (loans and returns) may not be visible immediately.

WHAT TO AVOID

  1. The system is designed to process only one item at a time. Do not attempt to borrow multiple books at once or place more than one item in a single locker.
  2. Once a book has been removed, it cannot be put back into the locker. You must complete the loan, close the locker, and follow the return procedure.
  3. Do not scan any barcodes other than those located inside the books.
  4. Do not place anything other than books inside the lockers.
  5. Do not pull books out by force or force the doors closed.

IN CASE OF PROBLEMS

If you are unable to borrow or return a book (e.g. due to a lack of available compartments or a device malfunction), please contact the staff of the Information and Library Centre or send an email.
